Racetrack Experience
Are spectators welcome?
Yes, spectators are welcome based on availability. Please contact us to confirm availability for public walk‑ins.
Are reservations required?
Reservations are highly recommended as our experiences are in high demand. To make a reservation we need the date, session time, driver first and last names and what activities each driver would like to drive. We will also process payment in full with a credit card to finalize a booking. Walk‑ins are subject to availability and longer than expected wait times.
What are your operating hours?
For Exotics Racing we are open 7 days a week, 9am–5pm. For Vegas Superkarts we are open 7 days a week, 10am–5pm.
Where are you located?
Speed Vegas Motorsports Park — 14200 S Las Vegas Blvd, Las Vegas, NV 89054. Driving from the Strip south on I‑15 take EXIT 25 toward Sloan Rd, then turn left onto Las Vegas Blvd South. You will see the SPEED VEGAS Driving Center on your right.
Do you have any local or military discounts?
Yes. Locals and military are eligible for an additional free lap on their driving experience and go‑kart races for $25 / race with proof of ID. To book your LOCAL or MILITARY discount, please call 702‑405‑7223 or LIVE CHAT with us. Payment in full is required to reserve.
Do you provide transportation services?
We do not offer transportation. We recommend Uber, Lyft, or taxi (prices typically $21–$85 one way). Presidential Limo by KAPTYN offers private door‑to‑door transportation; call 702‑438‑5466 to book.
What can I expect when I get to the track?
After checking in, drivers attend a welcome briefing and technical instruction. Drivers then ride along in a Porsche SUV with the lead instructor for discovery laps. You’ll be introduced to your personal instructor (who will ride passenger) for coaching during your drive. After the experience you receive a certificate of achievement. On‑board video, Drifting Ride‑Alongs, additional laps, and additional cars are available onsite as supplements.
Can someone ride with me?
No. An instructor will be in the passenger seat so there is no room for others. If you want a ride along, we offer ride‑alongs (instructor driving) for ages 11+.
How are laps counted for the Exotics Racing experience?
The first lap begins when exiting the pits. When the car passes the straightaway in front of the pit lane the second lap begins, and the last lap is when returning to the pit lane. Example: a 5‑lap experience on the 1.3‑mile track equals 6.5 miles including driving back to pit lane.
What hotel is closest to SpeedVegas?
The M Resort is located about 2 miles north of SpeedVegas. Use code HMSV when booking directly with the M Resort for up to 30% off.
What should I wear?
Comfortable clothes and closed‑toe shoes (preferably sneakers). Helmets are mandatory and provided free of charge. Sandals and high heels are not allowed for drivers.
What is the average wait time for experiences?
Wait times vary by activity. Fridays–Sundays are busiest and walk‑in wait times can be 1–2 hours.
What is the technical briefing about?
The briefing covers correct driving position, steering techniques, car specifications (power, gearbox, braking, acceleration), and correct racing lines.
What time should I arrive for my reservation?
Arrive at least 15 minutes prior to your reservation for registration and check‑in.
Are prescription video eyeglasses allowed?
No. All video recording must be pre‑approved by staff upon arrival.
Can I choose the color of the vehicle I am booking?
No. Car color is not guaranteed; cars are allocated based on model availability for your date.
Do I need a helmet?
Yes. Every driver and rider must wear helmets on track. Helmets are provided free of charge.
Can I come with friends and family?
Yes; friends and family are welcome to attend and may take pictures and videos from secure viewing areas. Children are welcome, but we do not recommend children under 24 months attend. Pets are not allowed (service animals only).
Can my guest ride with me in the car?
No. Only a driver and instructor will be in the car. Guests can accompany the participant during discovery laps for $20 per additional person.
Can I use my own camera to record inside the car?
No. Insurance policy prohibits any other camera/video equipment inside the cars. On‑board video is available for purchase.
How long should I plan for the whole experience?
Plan a minimum of 2 hours (3 hours during major events). Example itinerary for a 10:00am session: 9:45–10:00 check‑in, 10:15–10:45 classroom briefing, 10:45–11:00 discovery laps, 11:00–12:00 track time called to drive your car(s). If driving more than 50 laps, plan for at least 6 hours.
Can I upgrade my experience?
Depending on availability, you may change cars or add additional cars/laps and buy add‑ons such as on‑board video or a Drifting Ride‑Along.
Can I drive more than one car?
Yes. Combo packages are available and are designed for one driver (not to be split between multiple drivers).
Can we buy food and drinks on the track?
Yes. Snacks and beverages are available for purchase. Alcohol is not permitted at the track facility and staff may refuse service for intoxication.
What happens when it rains?
Our cars are equipped to handle most conditions. In extreme weather forcing closure, we can reschedule you at any of our tracks free of charge. Note: the following cars will NOT run in the rain: Ferrari 488 Pista and Challenge EVO, McLaren 570 GT4, Porsche GT3 RS and GT2 RS, Lamborghini Huracan Tecnica, Lamborghini Huracan STO, and Mercedes AMG GTR.

Can multiple car packages be split among drivers?
No. Packages and multiple‑car packages are per driver and cannot be split among multiple drivers.

How do I buy a gift certificate?

How can I pay?
Accepted forms of payment: Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express, PayPal, check (order is confirmed after full payment), and cash (only possible on the track, but availability is not guaranteed without advance payment).
Can I pay in installments?
No. Reservations must be paid in full prior to your reservation date.
Can I pay today and book a date later?
Yes — purchase a Gift Certificate (valid for one year) and redeem it later via the website or by phone at (702) 802‑5651.
I can’t decide on the car — can I buy an open gift certificate?
Yes — Gift Certificates are available and valid for up to 5 years from purchase. Redeemable online or by phone at (702) 802‑5651.
I need a present today — can I book last minute?
Yes, depending on availability. You can also purchase and print a Gift Certificate immediately and add a personal message.
Can I change the recipient of my Gift Certificate?
Yes, gift certificates are fully transferable (valid up to 5 years). Contact us with the new recipient name so we can update the reservation.
Can I change the experience I have selected?
Yes, subject to availability. If there is a price difference you will be responsible for paying the difference before changes are confirmed.
How do I book a date for the experience?
Choose a date from our online schedule. If you prefer to book with a live person, call customer service at (702) 802‑5651. For large groups (10+), contact Group Sales at (702) 802‑5651 — we may open additional dates for groups.
How many days ahead do I need to make a reservation?
Waiting times vary seasonally (from 1 day to 3 months). We strongly recommend booking as soon as possible. If you have a Gift Certificate, book at least 2 months before it expires. Call (702) 802‑5651 for last‑minute assistance.
I didn’t receive my confirmation letter — what do I do?
Check your email spam folder. If you still cannot find it or have account access issues, call (702) 802‑5651 and we can re‑send your order confirmation. You should also receive a reminder email prior to your event.
My gift certificate has expired — what do I do?
Gift certificates are valid up to 5 years from purchase. Contact customer sales at (702) 802‑5651 to schedule and redeem.
Can I modify my schedule or ask for a refund?
Reservations are not refundable. Experiences are valid for up to 5 years from purchase and can be rescheduled. Rescheduling fees apply for Track Buyouts, Mini Grand Prix, and Grand Prix experiences.
I was not able to attend my experience — what can I do?
Contact customer sales at (702) 802‑5651 as soon as possible to reschedule or leave the experience open‑dated for future use.
Eligibility, Safety & Requirements
Is there a weight or height restriction?
Yes. Safety requirements vary by experience:
- Go‑kart: minimum 55" (140 cm) — 4 ft 7 in
- Driving experience: minimum 59" (150 cm) — 4 ft 11 in (check specific experience details)
- Ride‑along: minimum 59" (150 cm) — 4 ft 11 in
Speed Vegas reserves the right to deny access if a participant does not meet safety requirements (visibility, ability to reach and operate pedals/steering/shifters, ability to get in/out quickly in an emergency).
What is the minimum age to participate?
Drivers must be 18 years old with a valid driver’s license. Ride‑alongs require minimum age 11 and minimum height 59" (4 ft 11 in).
What is the Damage Protection Plan?
Optional plan drivers can add for peace of mind. In the rare event of an accident on track, damage coverage is provided up to $500,000.
Is an international driver’s license acceptable?
Yes. A valid driver’s license issued by a government agency is acceptable.
Do I need to know how to drive a manual transmission?
No. All cars are automatic with paddle shifters; no clutch operation is required.
Is a deposit required?
No deposit is required, but the reservation must be paid in full prior to the experience.
Do I need prior racing experience?
No. Experiences are open to all levels of drivers. Choose 5, 10, or even 30 laps based on comfort.
I am a professional race car driver — can I drive alone?
No. Instructors remain available, but staff will note your experience to provide appropriate flexibility on track.
Go‑Kart
What are the requirements to drive?
Adult Go‑Kart participants must be at least 14 years old and at least 55" tall. Minors must have a guardian (18+) present to sign the liability waiver.
